Alcohol may be beneficial to the elderly

According to a report from the Peninsula Medical School, regular moderate drinking, two drinks a day, is actually good for the elderly. Alcohol has a "beneficial effect on cognitive and general health". Researchers claim that alcohol can boost the functioning of the brain, banish depression and provide a sense of well-being.
